Billy Waggoner

Billy Waggoner, age 54 of Yukon passed away in Oklahoma City on June 19, 2024 following a hard-fought battle with cancer. Billy Ray Charles Waggoner was born on June 3, 1970 in Rockford, Illinois to William Dewitt Waggoner and Karen Lee Waggoner (Duff). His family made their way to Oklahoma where they made their home in north Tulsa, where Billy attended Central High School. As a young boy Billy was an extra in the film adaptation of "The Outsiders" and loved to tell people about his experience in the movie. He was a jack of all trades and most recently worked as lead maintenance supervisor for Tribune Capital. He was an avid collector with diverse interests- Billy collected coins, knives, hats, Elvis Presley memorabilia, and anything to do with Michael Jordan or Lord of the Rings. Billy enjoyed watching movies with his family, and playing them song clips to see if they could guess what movie it was from. He loved playing guitar, basketball, and tattooing. Billy will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandma Effie Gates, grandpa Charles Waggoner, sister Heather Whittaker, aunt Barbara Timmerman, and mother-in-law Alice Clark. He is survived by his wife, Kim Waggoner of the home. His parents, William Waggoner and wife Susan of Tuttle, and Karen Mettler and husband Leon of Bethany. His children Ryan Clark and wife Jessica of Oklahoma City, Jordan Waggoner and wife Alyssa of Sand Springs, Dakota Waggoner of Marlow, Lauren Watson and husband Steven of Wagoner, and Alyssa Waggoner of Norman. His siblings Chris Waggoner and wife Kacie of Moore, J.D. Waggoner of Tuttle, Garrett Edens of Glenpool, and Tyme Luckie and husband Jeremy of Ames. As well as his father-in-law, Thomas Clark. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Kaylee Watson, Allison Watson, Khloe Watson, Landon Watson, Laney Watson, Avery Watson, Auden Clark, Scout Clark, Gynesis Ables, Nova Lee Ables, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Woodson Park Church of The Nazarene in Oklahoma City with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Tuttle, OK.
