Jack Milton Deitrick, Jr.

Jack Milton Deitrick Jr, age 57 of Newcastle, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 13, 2024 at his home. Born, April 2, 1967 in Okla. City, he was the older of two sons born to Jack Milton Deitrick Sr. and Darla Janell (Martin) Esker. Jack was raised in Okla. City and attended school there, graduating from Western Heights High School with the Jets Class of 1985. He attended Oklahoma State University where he studied horticulture before taking a job at OG&E with the grounds crew. He then began working for Anheuser-Busch. He started as a machinist and worked his way into management, retiring in 2008 after more than 20 years of dedicated service. Jack married his best friend and life partner, Londa Lane Ritter on September 28, 1996 in Oklahoma City and two families became one. They built a home in Newcastle where together they raised their children, son Dillon and daughters, Courtni and Jaci. Retirement looked a little different for Jack, as he pursued his dream of owning his own business. Following his dream and passion, Jack's Tractor & Turf Services became a reality in 2007. Away from work, Jack enjoyed hunting, trout fishing and spending time at their lake cabin on Table Rock, boating with his family and friends. In his younger years, Jack thrilled family and friends with his talent of barefoot water skiing. Jack's life changed forever when he became a G-Pa. Even with Jack's busy schedule, he still managed to make time each day to swing by and visit his grandbabies. He lived for the moments to take the grandbabies for a ride in his favorite ranger, better known as "monster trucking". Jack was a family man who lived life to the fullest. He cherished Londa and you rarely saw one without the other. He was a great friend and mentor to many. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew him! Jack is survived by: his loving wife, Londa of the home; children, Dillon Deitrick and wife Meagan, Courtni Loewer and husband Evan and Jaci Deitrick; his pride and joy, grandbabies: Gabby, Kaiya, Ryker, Maisyn, Reece and Zealand. His father, Jack Deitrick Sr and wife Terri; mother, Darla Esker and husband Charlie; brother, Chris Deitrick; step siblings, Brian Esker and wife Anna, Kendra Bond and husband Dean, Karen Marroquin and husband Jorge and Christina Winters and husband Weston; and a host of other family and friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Wilson-Little, Tri-City.
