Michael McGuire

Michael Wayne McGuire, age 75 of OKC, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022 in OKC. Mike was born on March 20, 1947 in Parsons, Kansas. He was the oldest of two sons born to Robert Earl McGuire and Virginia Eloise (Breneman) McGuire. Mike grew up in the Oklahoma City area attending grade school in The Village and later High School at John Marshall, graduating with the class of 1965. While in high school, Mike met Debbie Robinson of Moore, OK. They were later married on June 2, 1967, while Mike was enlisted in the U. S. Air Force. Mike proudly served his country for four years during the Vietnam Conflict. During his time in the service he lived in Maine, Louisiana and Thailand. Mike and Debbie lived most of their life in Moore, Oklahoma where they raised two daughters, Dalene and Stephanie. Mike worked for Gulf Stream for 34 years and later Civil Service at Tinker Air Force Base, retiring in 2015. Throughout his life he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with his wife and often on long trips with his four riding buddies. While at home, Mike was a Jack of all trades. He enjoyed tinkering in his workshop and building projects for his loved ones. He was an excellent craftsman and loved working with his hands. Most of all, Mike was a family man, he loved his wife and daughters and loved spending time with them and their families during the holidays and at other family get-togethers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by; Parents, Robert and Virginia McGuire, Son-in-law, Greg Bay of Purcell, Granddaughter, Kyndall Paige Bay. He is survived by: Wife of 55 years, Debbie McGuire of the home in OKC. Two daughters, Dalene Bay of Purcell. Stephanie Morris and husband Larry of Sapulpa, OK. Bonus daughter, Leann Williams of Mustang Brother, Robert McGuire and wife Chelle of Warr Acres, OK. Brothers-in-law, Ernie Robinson and wife Sallie of Stillwater, Ronald Coffman of El Reno, One sister-in-law, Sondra Evans of Yukon, One Aunt, Dorothy Breneman of Kansas, Six grandchildren, Baylie Wilson and husband Brenden, Drake and Noah Morris; Parker Bay and wife Alee, Faith and Hunter. Four great grandchildren, Zoey & Presley Wilson, Penelope Morris, and Loucee Bay A nephew, Chuck McGuire and wife Belinda of Moore. Also Mike leaves behind other relatives and many Gulf Stream and Tinker co-worker friends. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 1, 2022 at Little's Chapel, Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
