Randall Kirkhuff

Randall Lee Kirkhuff age 64, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021 at Norman Regional Hospital. Randy was born on June 12, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the oldest of two children born to Rev.Dale Lee Kirkhuff and Marlene (Davis) Kirkhuff. Randy grew up the son of a Baptist Preacher. Throughout his growing up years and until he graduated from high school his family lived in Oklahoma, Texas and California. In 1975, Randy graduated from LaHabra High School in LaHabra, CA. That same year, he moved back to Texas and soon began working for Texas Power and Light. In 1977, Randy married Missy Hoyt. Together they made their home in Garland, Texas and raised two children Keven and Kalyn. Randy worked many years for Texas Power and Light. After retiring he remained living in the Garland area where he attended the Orchard Hills Baptist Church that his grandfather pastored. Throughout his life, Randy had been an avid sports fan. He especially loved watching Oklahoma Sooner sports and the Dallas Cowboys. While his children and grandchildren were growing up and playing sports, he was their favorite fan. Randy also loved the beach and had a strong lifelong love for VW Vans. He collected O.U. and VW Van memorabilia and if there was a VW car show close by, he had to go. In 2015, Randy moved to Norman, OK to be close to his parents and sister. Randy loved the Lord with all his heart. For the past several years he has attended the Goldsby Church in Goldsby, OK where he enjoyed Sunday School and Wednesday night small group. He loved his family but his best friend was his dog Charlie, they were inseparable. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He was a wonderful son and a special onery brother. He was preceded in death by: Grandparents;Dorman and Sue Kirkhuff, Dr. J. Frank and Erline Davis. Father, Rev. Dale Kirkhuff. Brother-in-law, Mark Wyatt. He is survived by: Two children; Son, Keven Kirkhuff and companion Andrea of Rowlett, TX. Daughter, Kayln Eastep and husband Ben of Gun Barrell City, TX. Mother, Marlene Kirkhuff of Norman, OK. Sister, Cyndi Wyatt of Purcell, OK. five grandchildren, Macie, Landon, Jaxon, River and Maddox. Two former wives and friends, Missy Woodard of Garland, Tx. and Patty Kirkhuff of Forney, TX. Uncles, Jim Kirkhuff of NC and David Kirkhuff and wife Mary of MO; Aunt, Vicky Davis of TX. Several nephews and nieces, Jordan and Lindsey Strawn of Little Elm, TX. Alyssa and Tylor Lampkin of Purcell, Collin and Kristen Cox of Rowlett, TX. Courtney Cox of Rowlett, TX and Derek Hoyt of Garland, TX. Also many cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021 in Little's Chapel at Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell, OK. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Purcell.
