Robert Lee O'Bryant Jr.

Robert Lee O'Bryant Jr., age 65 of Duncan, OK, passed away on January 25th, 2021. He was born August 20th, 1955 in Hawthorne, California to Robert and Peggy O'Bryant. Robert spent his youth growing up in Moore, Oklahoma with his younger siblings: Mark and Nancy. Robert is a member of the graduating class of 1973 from Moore High School. Bob, as he was known to his friends, began selling cars in the mid-to-late 1970's and made a career in the industry. Robert always took pride in his ethical standards for car sales and valued honesty and integrity above all else. Robert was an avid fisherman and took great pride in his knowledge of the underwater aquatic habitat. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors and introducing fishing to the uninitiated. In recent years, he finally got to live out his dream of introducing and teaching fishing to his soon-to-be grandson Aiden. Robert married Terri Nolan in April 1978 and the two welcomed their son Shaun in July 1981. In December of 1984 Robert wed Patricia Rapp and in April of 1988 they welcomed their son Nickolas. Robert and Patricia moved to Piedmont, Oklahoma in 1996 where they raised their family. Upon Nick's graduation in 2006 the family returned to Oklahoma City until their divorce in 2015. Robert remained in Oklahoma City until moving to Duncan, Oklahoma where he met his fiancé in 2019, Tammie Storlie. Robert and Tammie enjoyed planning their retirement together and worked on improving their homes while spending time with family. Robert is preceded in death by his mother Peggy O'Bryant and father Robert O'Bryant Sr. Robert is survived by his sons Shaun and Nickolas O'Bryant of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his fiancé Tammie Storlie of Duncan, Oklahoma and her grandson Aiden Hodges of Yukon, Oklahoma; his brother Mark O'Bryant of Peoria, Arizona and his sister Nancy O'Bryant of Owasso, Oklahoma. In addition, Robert is survived by his nieces' and nephew: Brandy West of Moses Lake, Washington, Rylee Morton and Connor O'Bryant of Peoria, Arizona. Special mention must be given to his friendship with Justin Jones of Burke Burnett, Texas, who he regarded as another son. No Services are scheduled at this time.
