Rufino Carrillo

Rufino Palos Carrillo, age 51 of Lexington, passed away Saturday December 3, 2016, while visiting family in Durango, Mexico. Rufino was born July 19, 1965 in Durango, 1 of 9 sons born to Arturo Carrillo and Maria Luisa Palos Carrillo. At the age of 15, Rufino moved to Oklahoma and settled in the Lexington/Purcell area. He was an entrepreneur, and he owned and operated his own lawn service business throughout the years. More recently he worked as a general contractor for Build a Barn. On November 19, 1994 in Las Vegas, NV, Rufino married his best friend and soul mate, Donna Sue Skinner. Rufino worked hard to and was a good provider. He was a big hearted family man and he especially loved his grandkids. When not working, you could find him cheering on his OU Sooners, and there was never a bigger Dallas Cowboys fans. He was a wonderful husband and father, grandfather, brother, uncle and good friend. He will be dearly missed! He was preceded in death by: His father, Arturo Carrillo; Son-in-law, Rickie Garcia and Nephew, Manuel Carrillo. Rufino leaves behind: His wife, Donna Carrillo of the home; 3 sons, Rufino Carrillo Jr of Purcell, Victor Carrillo and Claudia of Moore and Eduardo Ernesto Carrillo and Natalie of OKC; 4 daughters, Maria Luisa Carrillo Gonzalez and Thomas of Mexico, Rosalinda Garcia of Lexington, Letty Carrillo and JR of Purcell and Jessica Eve Carrillo of Lexington; His mother, Maria Luisa Palos of Mexico; 8 brothers, Rigoberto, Ovaldo, Alfredo, Gilberto, Epifanio, Manuel, Renato and Ardian; 11 grandchildren, Aaliyah, Tomas, Jofefina, Priscila and Alejandro Gonzalez Maria, Liliana and Alonzo Carrillo, Javier and Hector Garcia and Ein Carrillo; His mother and father-in-law, Navoy and Connie Skinner 2 brother-in-laws, Gary and Allan Skinner Several nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Rosary Services are scheduled for 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell. Funeral Mass Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 9, 2016, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery east of Lexington. Arrangements by Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell.
