Terry Karl Graumann

Terry Karl Graumann age 51 of Newalla passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, following an automobile accident. He was born September 20, 1963, in Sentinel, Oklahoma. He was the son of Marvin Karl Graumann and Linda Gay Johnston. Terry was raised by his mother and step-father, Linda and Carl Johnston Jr. In his younger years his family lived in the OKC area. They later moved to Choctaw where he spent his high school years, graduating with the class of 1982. One year after he graduated, Terry married the love of his life, Shelly Deneen Stalford. They were married on August 13, 1983 in Del City. They lived a short time in OKC, later moved to Del City, then MWC. In 2006, he bought several acres in Newalla where he could enjoy being in the country. Terry worked at Midwest Trophy for 10 years before becoming an Independent Sales Rep. for the Jelly Belly Candy Company. For the past 12 years he serviced the local grocery stores throughout the OKC area. While growing up and during his summer months, Terry enjoyed spending time with his father working on his wheat farm near Mangum, OK. It was then that he developed a love for the outdoors and being close to nature. Terry was also proud of his Cherokee Indian heritage. His hobbies included gardening, fishing, rock hunting, morel hunting, metal detecting, cooking out and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death: by his father, Marvin Graumann on May of 2010. He is survived by: Wife, Shelly Graumann of the home in Newalla; Two sons, Levy Graumann and wife Abigail of Newalla; Ethan Graumann of Newalla; Parents, Linda and Carl Johnston, Jr. of Purcell; Brother, Brad Johnston and wife Shane of Purcell; Sister, Sheree Vinson and husband Brock of Purcell; In-laws, Dottie and David Adams of Stroud; One niece, Brylee Vinson and one nephew on the way; Three aunts, Sherrill Sipes of Tahlequah, Phillis Graham and husband Jim of Eufaula, Marilyn Peeper and husband Tom of Stillwater; One uncle, Darrell Graumann of Ardmore; Several cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.
