Wanda June Rennie

June Rennie, age 77 of Yukon, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Wanda June Snow was born November 11, 1942 in Purcell, Oklahoma, the baby of 5 children born to Edgar Eugene Snow and Willie Mable (Strong) Snow. She was raised west of Purcell in the Fairview Community, and attended Wayne Schools. June married young to Merle Edmoundson and to this union two children, son Steve and daughter Wanda. After a tragic accident, June married Jimmy Madden and they welcomed two more children, son Alan and daughter Tina to the family. They made their home in Purcell, and while the kids were young, June worked for Purcell Public Schools in the cafeteria. Some years later, she began a new adventure in home health, and her kind and gentle nature served her well in health care. On December 30, 1998, in Cocoa Beach, Florida, June married Tom Rennie. They enjoyed their retirement years together, working at Oklahoma State Fair events and catering. They lived in Oklahoma City, Mustang and San Antonio, TX, before settling back home in Yukon, OK. June loved spending time outdoors, tending to her flower gardens. She was an excellent cook and will be forever remembered for her cornbread dressing. She was a woman of great faith and a member of the Mustang Church of the Nazarene. She was a wonderful wife and mother; the best grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed! She was preceded in death by: Her husband, Merle Edmoundson; Her parents, Edgar and Willie Snow; her brother Reverend Eugene Snow and an infant sister, Emma Snow. June is survived by: her husband, Tom Rennie of the home; daughters, Wanda McCoy and husband Don of Washington and Tina Mize and husband Curtis of Washington; sons, Steve Edmoundson and wife Angela of Norman and Alan Madden and wife Terryn of Wylie, TX; Step-son, Tom Rennie Jr. and wife Michelle of San Antonio, TX; Step-daughter Traci Rennie of Stillwater, OK; Brothers, James Snow and wife Vera of Purcell and Curtis Snow of Purcell; 15 grandchildren, Scott (Allen), Chad, Sara, Lindsey (James), Colby (Devon), Dalton (Brittany), Ryan (Tami), Chase, Olivia (Brandon), Paige, Haley, Timothy, Andrea, Jessica (Elijah) and Jake; 17 great grandchildren, Preslee, Harper, Jaedyn, Cameron, Payton, Emerson, Cora, Kennedy, Brinley, Lila June, Dakota, Braxton, Boston, Scarlett, Warren, Lainie and Lyla; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel.
