Carrie Streetman

Carrie Streetman age 39 passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2024 in Oklahoma City. Carrie Irene Ferguson was born on July 25, 1985 in Oklahoma City to LaVoy Dale Ferguson and Darla Sharlene Monier (Wallis). She grew up in the Yukon and Bethany area and was active in cheer and pom while in school at Okarche and Putnam City West. She began concurrent classes at the University of Oklahoma and graduated with her Bachelors Degree of Psychology at age 19. She then earned her Bachelors Degree in Nursing, and had almost completed her Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering. She spent most of her working years as an RN and most recently for the Oklahoma Healthcare Authority and put her heart for others to good use. Though Carrie encountered struggles in life, she was resilient and always strived to be the best mother and example she could be for her beloved daughters. She loved hiking, spending time at the lake, and was on a mission to visit each and every U.S. National Park. Carrie loved singing karaoke with her girls, and was always the life of the party. She was always one to take charge, and help those in need find peace, even in the rain and thunder. Carrie is survived by her daughters, Millison, Iselle, and Emerett Streetman of the home. Her parents, L.D. and Becky Ferguson of Lexington, OK and Sharlene and Ken Monier of Edmond, OK. Her siblings Robert Ferguson and wife Karen, nieces Natalie, Grace and nephew Hugh of Sugarland, TX, Kris Monier and nephews Rivers and Ryder of Austin, TX, Richard Gilmore of Shawnee, OK, Nick Gilmore and wife Jackie and nephews Gavin, Gideon and Gunnar of Owasso, OK, and Keri Marie Daniels and husband Dan and niece Winnie of Edmond, OK. Her grandmother, Marcine Wallis of Minco, OK. Her ex-husbands Kyle Streetman of Edmond, OK and Dean Henager of Okarche, OK. Sister-In-Law, Erin Streetman Honious and Chris, niece Evie and Nephew Arthur of Edmond, OK. She also leaves behind her uncles Lonnie Ferguson and wife Deloris of Edmond, OK, Danny Wallis and wife Heidi of Minco, OK, her Aunt Masheal Padilla of Minco Oklahoma and numerous other cousins, and devoted friends and coworkers. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday August 9, 2024 at Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City.
