Melinda Ille

Melinda Ille, age 39 of Lexington, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, following a courageous battle with cancer. Melinda was born October 12, 1982 in Ardmore, OK, to Danny and Donna (Thompson) McFadden, the youngest of three children. She was raised in Elmore City and attended school there, graduating in 2001. Melinda was very active in school. She was active in a variety of sports, the Badger Band and tons of student activities. Melinda continued her education and earned her Bachelors of Nursing that led to a rewarding career as an RN. Melinda's kind nature and compassionate heart was a perfect fit to make her a wonderful nurse. On Christmas Eve of 2012, she was introduced to a young man from Lexington named Kelley Ille. Melinda and Kelley were married on August 8, 2016 and have made their home in Lexington with their three girls, Madison, Sofie and Evelyn. There was no doubt that Melinda's family was the greatest joy of her life. She spent hours coaching little league basketball, baking for bake sales, and spending time with her girls any way she could. She was always ready to volunteer her time for a good cause. She was a hard worker, and an amazing woman, who never lost her faith, even when life's challenges would make it easy to question. She looked forward to family get togethers; baking cakes entertaining. She taught herself to crochet and sew, just so she could make her daughters costumes. She was a fearless, fun-loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed! She was preceded in death by: her mother-in-law, Marketa Ille. Melinda is survived by: her husband, Kelley Ille, and daughters, Madison, Sofie and Evelyn, of the home; Her parents, Danny and Donna McFadden of Elmore City; sister, Jenny Cowan and husband Chad of Velma, OK; brother, Danny McFadden and wife Tiffany of Anna, TX; grandparents, Troy and Barbara McFadden of Elmore City and Earlene Upshaw of Elmore City; father-in-law, Jerry Ille of Lexington; countless cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 23, 2021, at the Lexington First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the Lexington Cemetery.
