Vicki Riley

Vicki Jean Riley, age 68 of Norman, passed away on November 9th, 2021 surrounded by her family. Vicki was born in Ada, OK on January 10th, 1953, the 4th of 5 children to Leonard Alford Lamb and Loyce Alma (Prier) Lamb. Her family made their home in Purcell where she attended school and graduated with the Dragon Class of 1971. She married young to Jim Booker and they were blessed with two children, Jamie and Cory. In 1977 Vicki married Jerry Riley and they added three more children to the family, twins Billy and Tera, and Mandy. Vicki was always at home in the kitchen. She used her love of food and cooking to support her family over the years. She worked numerous odd jobs, but most of them involved serving others with her culinary skills. She worked in area nursing home kitchens, Kendall's, and Chickasaw Hills. Vicki was a social butterfly and would talk about anything with anyone who would listen. She had an infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor. She was the biggest cheerleader of her children and grandchildren, and you would see her in the stands at every game, concert, or other event. She also loved to cheer for the Sooners, the Dragons, and threw a mean game of darts. If she put on music, it was classic country, the Beatles or Elvis Presley. And if you knew Vicki long enough, you probably heard her story about Elvis pulling her up on stage for a kiss. Vicki was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Loyce Lamb, and her son Cory Booker. She is survived by her daughter Jamie Sheff and husband Jamie of Wayne, her son Billy Riley and her daughters Tera White and husband Darrell of Norman, and Mandy Dembowski and husband Jed of Pensacola, Florida. She is also survived by siblings Rich Goodrich and wife Marilyn of Wapanucka, OK, Bob Goodrich and wife Linda of Harrah, OK, Jean Lamb and wife Cristina of Anchorage, Alaska, and Beth Henson and husband Mike of Purcell, OK. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday November 12th, 2021 at Little's Chapel, Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell, OK.
